Why would you run the power wire to the outside, all the way from the rear of the car to the front? Why wouldn’t you pick up power from the fuse box on the other side of the luggage compartment?

Something you need to be aware of. Once you remove your plate to add it to the plate adapter, you are going to realize that at night, you are still illegal. Why?... Your license plate is not illuminated as per law.

Just installed mine using your directions. I now realize why you didn’t use the bracket for the wire plug to the hitch. It doesn’t work with the hidden hitch. Oh well, I did what you did and leave the wire in the spare tire well. Sucks though, it looks unfinished

I ordered a new master cylinder from yall gave yall all the # of the trailer to get the right part to its the type that goes on the inside from the naked eye looks like the same part easy change over. Got it all together but the last bolt threw the trailer that holds it and also sides on it surge brake boat trailer but last bolt wont go through cause the bolt that comes out of the mast cylinder is to long and hits that sleeve that the bolt goes through any help i bought it from yall

You know what I think I would want. Is, some kind of pulley arrangement.. For diesel pushers like that with no back window.. To mount the bicycles. Near the top of the back of the Motorhome. That way. Thieves can't reach it.. Conveniently. Unless they carry a ladder with them. Most don't. Operated from say an electric motor. You operate from your phone. With a special code. Therefore it is not conveniently near ground level. And you can still be towing something. And not just a couple of bicycles. So while that's a fine, trailer hitch bicycle Mount. Being a retired engineer now. I think I just invented something? And a better way to carrier bicycles on your Motorhome. And still be towing another vehicle or trailer. I like Efficiency. I mean if you're not towing anything? I guess this is a fine bicycle Mount. But I think getting them higher might be advantageous.. With some wire rope mesh sling.. Raised by an electric winch.. And further secured with the rear ladder. And maybe a secondary roof mounted, tension, mount? To lock it in up top. Making it far more difficult for any thief. To want to attempt. I'm an old engineer. I've designed and built a lot of stuff. It's always fun finding a nifty more efficient workaround. In making certain things will last. When you design and build things really well. And with off-the-shelf components. At or below, budget. That's the way I roll. And that takes some creativity. Some, imagination. Imagineneering. Is the order of the day. And yeah. I have a nice diesel pusher just like that. But I'm a loon. I think I would want to mount my bicycle on the front of the Motorhome. So it's not exactly out of sight, out of mind when you park. And you can keep your surveillance cameras running. As I might want to be towing a vehicle or trailer? And still have a bicycle. And because you really can't squeeze a bicycle into any of the storage compartments. So it's always a problem. If you don't keep them inside. And that's a hassle. And an imposition in comfort. I think bicycles are more apt to be stolen on the back of the vehicle. RemyRAD

1.) I found it easier to cut each side wires about 18” from circuit box. Then thread long wires down thru light pocket and up thru grommet. Drill small hole in grommet vs cut slit to maintain more integrity. Use grommet on both sides to keep wires in body run by spare tire. This keeps wires away from elements. I don’t like butt connectors so I soldered mine and used shrink tube. Put ring term for ground stacked with existing ground screw from factory. 2.) I DID tap off the back red wire for cigarette plug in back. Works fine and used fuse holder there. If i did again i would use a panel mount barrel style fuse holder so could access without pulling panel again. I metered 5 amp draw on my trailer lights so I don’t foresee an issue getting power here. Really don’t like idea of wire running under car.

Has anyone retrofitted this onto another brand of Awning? The cheap ones have a cast aluminum part that puts a fair amount of stress on the mounting rail while the horizontal arm is hanging down, waiting to be fixed to the front support

Nice video as an added tip from experience place the straps on the rack first off the sides and they are easier to walk around each end over the kayak.

Yup I got a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder SV and got the Curt towbar 6000lbs. The bolts did not line up and ended up having to bore out the holes bigger were they connect to the frame of the SUV. 6 bolts- this is BS/ Took me forever to put this thing in.

Ours doesn’t have a pin in the bottom part that hold the threaded rod in the bottom or a spring across the wind handle and can’t seperate the 2 parts of the jack body
